ELEMENTRAC CN-r
The ELEMENTRAC CN-r is an advanced nitrogen and carbon analyzer specifically designed for high-throughput laboratories. In this system, samples are combusted in a pure oxygen atmosphere. All components are completely oxidized using a chromium-free catalyst, ensuring highly accurate nitrogen and carbon analysis.

The ELEMENTRAC CS-i elemental analyzer is designed to measure carbon and sulfur concentrations primarily in inorganic samples. This is achieved by combusting the samples in an induction furnace and subsequently analyzing the gaseous combustion products: carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide.
The high temperature of more than 2000 °C ensures complete decomposition of the sample, providing reliable and accurate elemental analysis across a wide concentration range.

The elemental analyzer ELEMENTRAC CS-r is designed for the safe, precise, and reliable analysis of carbon (C) and sulfur (S) in predominantly organic matrices such as soils, waste, wood, oil, coal, and coke, utilizing IR detection.
In the ELEMENTRAC CS-r, the sample is combusted in an oxygen atmosphere at temperatures up to 1,550 °C. The furnace temperature can be freely selected in 1°C steps. The combustion gases (CO₂, H₂O, SO₂) exiting the furnace pass through a dust filter. After water vapor is chemically absorbed, the dried CO₂ and SO₂ gases are then detected in the subsequent infrared (IR) cells. Depending on the configuration, it is possible to combine up to four IR cells with different sensitivities for carbon and sulfur analysis.
