Recently, Canon keeps a line of HD-EC Prime Lenses by improving the predecessors in both optical and mechanical performance and at the same time, having added the FJs55.The HD-EC Prime Lenses, exhibit high MTF, high resolution and high contrast from the center of the image to its extreme edges, an important benefit of Canon's proprietary design techniques. All lenses have traditional film style feel and operation. This includes dual large luminous scales for the focus and iris and industry compatible gear rings.
